Project overview
Finch Services Ltd carried out demolition and groundwork preparation for a residential project in East Bergholt, Suffolk.
The works included demolition of an existing cottage and garage, followed by excavation and pouring of foundations to a depth of 1.6 metres.
Due to high groundwater levels, the foundations were completed in carefully planned phases to maintain stability and prevent trench collapse. Foundations were excavated and concreted in sections on the same day to avoid leaving trenches open overnight.
